In the scorching embrace of the Summer of 2023, I embarked on an extraordinary odyssey – a voyage that would leave an indelible mark on my personal and professional life. For nearly three months, we found ourselves nestled in the heart of my homeland, Vietnam.
This journey was an exquisite blend of leisure and ambition. As if plucked from the pages of a storybook, I began by travelling the length of Vietnam for 3 unforgettable weeks, from the enchanting southern vistas to the storied north, accompanied by over twenty family members from Canada. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Yet, this sojourn was not just about leisure but an expedition of purpose. Accompanied by colleagues from multiple industries in Canada and members of the Canada-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, we had the privilege of encountering visionary individuals – CEOs, entrepreneurs, and newfound friends – all woven together by the threads of friendship that characterize the Vietnamese ethos.
Vietnam, over the past few decades, has undergone a metamorphosis. It has evolved into a beacon that beckons industries of the future: artificial intelligence, Medtech, high technology, agriculture, education, manufacturing, renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, and more. It has become a pivotal player in the global supply chain, a juggernaut of growth and innovation.
Vietnam is not just a land; it's an emotion, a sentiment, a place I call home. It's where inquisitive minds, corporations, and nations converge, investing their efforts and attention to unravel the mysteries and possibilities within its vibrant landscape.
